Gaults for Gold
Brother and sister duo Peter and Natalie Gault both picked up Golds last weekend.
Peter (right) took the British Open Under 16 yrs title while team mates Zoe Nay won her first bout and Dennis Medford proved age don’t matter. Alex Hearn-Phillips battled through to take a draw. All other team members gained valuable experience coming a close second to their opponents.
English Open for Nat
Natalie-Gault picked up her first Gold medal in the under 125cms female sparring. She battled her way through 3 rounds to win with class and skill. Brandan Charles picked up Gold in Sparring, while Dennis Medford and Sarah Prodywus both won Silvers in Sparring with Peter Gault taking the Bronze. Joel Wilson won Bronze in the Black-belt patterns.
Sophie Wan shows great promise after competing in her largest category in her second competition.
Junior Alleyne and Rachel Freegard were officials on the day.
